Colin has been saying it for months, and the Colts just made it official by announcing Andrew Luck is being placed on injured reserve, and won’t practice or play for the remainder of the season.
The team posted a statement from Luck on their Twitter account, stating he’s optimistic about his eventual return and his long-term NFL prospects .

In the “where Colin was right” category, this may be Colin’s most spot on prediction ever.
He’s been saying for months that new GM Chris Ballard wouldn’t rush Luck back this season just to win a couple meaningless games and potentially risk greater injury coming off major shoulder surgery. Hopefully for Luck, Ballard can continue to overhaul the roster and surround him with something resembling a competitive team by the time next season rolls around.
Here’s Colin back in September laying out the reasons why the Colts should sit Luck down for the year.
