The New York Giants have the second pick in the draft after a dismal 2017, but they still haven’t admitted they are in need of a total rebuild, not just a quick fix.
Colin thinks they need to admit that an overhaul is in order, sooner than later, so they can make deals to get more picks and assets needed for a total overhaul. If the Giants trade down from the second pick, and get additional picks in a trade for Odell Beckham, they can clear the deck and address the numerous holes on their roster immediately through the draft.
The Giants are a proud franchise, but the reality is they are nowhere near being able to compete for the NFC East with Philly. They don’t even have close to as much talent as Dallas.
Watch Colin explain why New York needs to go all-in on their rebuild, not just dip their toe in the water.
“The New York Giants in the next 24 hours could get six draft picks really easily. They could trade the No. 2 pick and get three, four picks. They could give Cleveland Odell Beckham and get two more.” @ColinCowherd lays out a rebuilding plan for the Giants pic.twitter.com/dY07bmIj3a
