Colin: Pete Carroll’s act is wearing thin in Seattle, just like at USC

The Seahawks were thoroughly beaten down by the Bears, Colin thinks Pete Carroll’s motivational coach schtick is wearing thin just like it did at USC.

Carroll always injects life into struggling teams. He did it with a failing USC program and turned the Seahawks into a Super Bowl winner, but his style has a shelf life and always reaches a point where his players end up tuning him out.

Carroll is a great coach, but his means of achieving success isn’t sustainable because it’s based solely on emotion and motivating. The end feels near in Seattle.

“Once again the offensive line is awful, the running game is awful, the wide receivers are below average and Russell Wilson is running for his life.”@ColinCowherd on the state of the Seahawks pic.twitter.com/vGWKNHBrel
