Colin: Anonymous NBA GM’s overwhelmingly think LeBron is still better than Durant

When given the cloak of anonymity, people are more inclined to tell the truth, which is why the annual survey of anonymous NBA GM’s is always a window into what everyone around the league really thinks about the top players in the league.

In terms of comparing Kevin Durant to LeBron James, fans may think the two are close, and many argue KD has surpassed LeBron, but the GM poll tells a different story. All told, LeBron was ranked first in 8 total categories, including likely MVP, best passer, highest basketball IQ, and best leader. Durant was only first in 1 category, and was third on his own team when it came to best shooter.

It’s not as close as Twitter would have you think.
