Andrew Luck is finally healthy for the first time in forever, but today in The Herd, but Colin said he doesn’t expect him to immediately dominate after missing an entire season.

Colin noted that Michael Jordan struggled in his return to the Bulls after leaving to play baseball, and Tom Brady had an average return season after missing a year with a knee injury. He predicts Luck will have a solid year and be a borderline Pro Bowler in 2018, but it’s going to take a year to re-acclimate to playing QB in NFL.

It’s not a knock on Luck, just a reality check for those that expect him to play at an MVP level.

“Andrew Luck is probably the best young QB I’ve seen in this league since Dan Marino or John Elway… he’s going to be good, he is not going to be great this year.”@ColinCowherd on why Andrew Luck’s return will be similar to Michael Jordan and Tom Brady’s comeback seasons pic.twitter.com/iXGE1uVnRI
