The Bears made the trade of the NFL offseason when they pulled off a deal with the Raiders to land All-Pro stud pass rusher Khalil Mack, and while Colin thinks Oakland made a big mistake by not signing Mack long-term, today he said the biggest loser in the deal is Aaron Rodgers.

Not only does Rodgers now have to face Mack’s harassment twice a year until he retires, the Packers also missed a golden opportunity to give him long needed defensive help by not trying to land Mack with picks they have available. The trade would have made sense for Green Bay because they’ve traditionally struggled to land impact free agents, but they decided to play it safe instead of going all in.  The Bears did, and now Rodgers is has to deal with the consequences. He deserves better, but instead it’s more of the same.
