Bill Romanowski Tells Colin Why He Thinks Gruden Could Trade Derek Carr

Jon Gruden’s first season with the Raiders was largely a disappointment on the field and saw him trade away All-Pro pass rusher Khlail Mack to the Bears where he helped turn them into a division winner. The biggest question heading into the offseason is if Gruden will stick with QB Derek Carr or deal him and bring in his own guy.

Bill Romanowski played for the Raiders – in addition to winning Super Bowls with the Niners and Broncos – and joined The Herd today to discuss Carr’s future with Gruden and the Silver and Black. He thinks the signs point to Gruden moving on from Carr and completing his franchise reset by bringing in a quarterback of his choice.
