Patriots wide receiver and Super Bowl hero Julian Edelman and newly signed cornerback Stephon Gilmore are getting acquainted in their first training camp together. Based on the early returns, they don’t like each other.
After going at it in some some drills in today’s practice, the two decided to just go at it. They locked up and ended up rolling around, with Edelman ending on top of Gilmore and getting in some ground and pound before the two were pulled apart.
Belichick wasn’t having any of the nonsense and sent both players to the showers. Training camp is in full swing now.
There’s no video from the fight, but scroll through this Instagram and see what went down:

When asked about the fight, first year Pat Brandin Cooks said he didn’t see it. It’s hard to tell if he’s telling the truth or just picking up The Patriot Way at record speed.
