There’s no hiding on the internet, and Canadian Actor Robbie Ammel found that out the hard way when a clip of him throwing a sub-standard football from a movie called The Duff was posted to Twitter.

In the movie, Ammel plays the the ‘star quarterback’ at a high school, but he was quickly eviscerated by the internet for his throwing motion that more closely resembled Garo Yepremian against the Redskins in Super Bowl VII.

Colin jumped in and amplified the embarrassment, prompting an explanation from Rob-lisberger on why he looked like he sucked so bad, and to post a video of him throwing the pigskin and not sucking quite as bad (still rough).

Brutal. May lead my show tomorrow. https://t.co/qYMZDXimD3

Apologies to my very pregnant wife @italiaricci for having to video this but she’s in no condition to catch.

It’s not perfect but at least it’s better than the movie.

Off to salvage date night.

Here’s another clip from the movie of Ammel letting loose and ‘slinging’ the pill like Patrick Mahomes (at 6 months old).
