Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett has frequently been slotted as the #1 overall draft pick in many 2017 NFL mock drafts. The consequence of being selected #1 overall in the upcoming draft is a one way ticket to Cleveland to play for the 1-15 Browns.
Garrett doesn’t seem to into that idea. He’d rather play in Dallas. Who wouldn’t?
Garrett made a Princess Leia style video-plea for rescue, in which he requested that Jones make a move with Cleveland so he can play for the Cowboys. Whatever it takes.
In the video Garrett states:
I’m speaking to you Jerry. Listen, Mr. Garrett, make it happen. Dak Prescott is leading our team right now.
I need you to take Tony Romo, take a couple picks and give ’em to Cleveland, so you can pick me up. Please. I’d love to play in Dallas. Make it happen.”
Fans in Cleveland are probably pissed, but they can’t be too surprised. It’s not going to happen, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Help Myles Garrett Jerry Jones, you’re his only hope.
