Karl-Anthony Towns is an NBA small forward trapped in an NBA center’s body. A man his size shouldn’t be able to do the things he can do on the basketball court. Strictly in terms of physical freakishness, Towns is a super-sized LeBron James.
Last night against NBA doormat Philadelphia, he blew past Joel Embiid on a drive to the hole and posterized the majority of the Sixers on the floor with a vicious, soul-taking dunk.

Towns finished with a 25 point, 10 rebound double-double in Minnesota’s 110-86 dismantling of the Sixers. He’s only scratching the surface of his potential in his second year in the league. That’s a scary thought.
