Following a dominant post season and Super Bowl run, the Super Bowl 50 MVP thinks he’s in line for a long term contract extension that would make him the highest paid pass rusher in the league.
Because Miller is only a restricted free agent, the Broncos have the leverage of slapping Miller with the one year franchise tag, The sides are currently miles apart on the terms of a long term deal. Miller reportedly just turned down an eye popping 6 year, $114 million offer from the Broncos, and the PR fight has poured onto social media.
On Instagram today, Miller posted there is, “”No Chance” I play the 2016 season under the franchise tag.”
It’s not Miller’s first Instagram post throwing shade at the Broncos. He cropped Team President John Elway out of a group picture that was taken during the team’s White House visit earlier this month.
