Anyone that says cheerleading isn’t a contact sport wasn’t at last night’s UCLA/Oregon PAC-12 basketball game. One UCLA cheerleader showed up to cheer, but ended up taking more hits than Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen.
The cheerleader lost her balance fell from a pyramid during a timeout. It looked like she took a pretty bad knock. Just be sure, she was carried off the court for further evaluation.
As she was being carried off the court, the guy who was carrying her tripped on a bag on the floor and dropped her like a bag of groceries. The video definitively confirms that he was not tripped by Duke’s Grayson Allen.
Luckily, the cheerleader was not seriously injured and should be fine. Her ego may need 4-6 weeks to heal.
Spirit fingers up for the young lady.
