Tony Romo has drawn rave reviews from most for his ability to predict plays as a broadcaster, but a joke he cracked during last night’s Eagles/Panthers broadcast stoked a social media reaction about his own future.
Jim Nantz noted during a highlight clip that Romo’s last pass was a touchdown to Terrence Williams against the Eagles, last year. Romo laughingly responded. “Was it the last pass?”
He may have been joking, but he didn’t exactly slam the door shut on an NFL comeback.
