For a nothing bowl game, the Texas Bowl between Missouri and Texas had more than it’s share of trash talking. During pregame warm ups, Missouri players kicked off the chirping by walking on the field and flashing the “horns down sign,” which Texas took as a sign of disrespect. Then, after firing a 79-yard, 3rd quarter TD strike, Missouri QB Drew Lock did a celebration like he was putting on a back pack, for some reason.

Apparently, Herman didn’t appreciate the gesture, because, with the game wrapped up in the 4th, he got in on the action by mocking Lock’s celebration on the Texas sideline.
Texas haters will say Herman should be above the smack talking because he’s the head coach and should be a better example. Texas fans will say Missouri had it coming. You be the judge.
At least this game was interesting, which is more than most ‘insert sponsor’s name’ bowls.
