The baseball world is mourning the loss of 2-time Cy Young winner Roy Halladay, who was killed when his private plane crashed into the Gulf of Mexico, yesterday. He was 40.
TMZ has obtained video taken moments before the crash of Halladay flying extremely close to the gulf waters. It’s unknown if the maneuvers were intentional, but witnesses tell TMZ the plane rapidly changed altitude from 200 feet down to 5 feet above the water several times.
Following the crash, the boat went to the wreckage, but when they arrived it was clear the pilot – Halladay – was dead. Such an unfortunate and awful tragedy. Rest in peace.
