The NBA All-Star draft wasn’t televised, and the league didn’t disclose the order in which the players were selected so the person who got picked last wouldn’t get their feelers hurt. Fans and players were both curious about the selection order, including Team LeBron guard Russell Westbrook.
After last night’s win over the Wizards, Westbrook explained that he was intially a little hurt because he thought he was ‘Mr. Irrelevant.’ He came to the conclusion because his name was listed last on the roster sheet. It turns out it was just in alphabetical order. The W last name does it every time. You always have to be on the lookout.
Don’t worry Russ, LaMarcus Aldridge is on your team. Smart money’s on him.
