Myles Garrett left NFL scouts’ collective jaws on the floor with his impressive NFL combine performance over the weekend. According to most NFL draftnicks, he all but locked up his status as the #1 pick by the Browns in the upcoming NFL draft.
The second best pass rusher in the draft wasn’t at the combine, he was playing point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Mavericks last night.
Trailing by 18 in the third quarter of OKC’s 104-89 loss to Dallas, Westbrook’s frustrations boiled over when he attempted to fight through a Harrison Barnes screen to contest a Seth Curry corner three.
Instead of allowing himself to be screened, Westbrook went into Khalil Mack-mode and bull-rushed Barnes like a replacement right tackle on the Lions, knocking him directly into Curry.
In addition to leading the NBA in triple-doubles, Westbrook now leads the lead in sacks.
