Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have been fierce rivals for the better part of the last decade, but instead of facing off in the finals of a grand slam, the two teamed up in a doubles match to smash some overmatched opponents at the Laver Cup in Prague. The duo was appropriately coached by European team captain, and fellow tennis all-timer, Bjorn Borg.
The two legends ended up drilling the far less legendary team of Sam Querrey and Jack Sock, 6-4 1-6 10-5 in their super team debut. Not bad for the first time out.
We aren’t really into tennis, but we appreciate greatness. Here are the highlights from the historic dream team debut.
