Knicks President Phil Jackson went on Knicks Night Live on MSG Network last night and confirmed he is exploring trade scenarios for 7-foot Latvian forward Kristaps Porzingis.
Phil said he is “getting calls” for Porzingis, and listening to offers. Ultimately, Jackson says that the motivation to pursue a Porzingis trade would be to reshape the roster if the Knicks received two starters and a draft pick, or more.
He’s really hung up on Porzingis missing his end-of-year exit meeting some reason, but did call K-Porzee a “unicorn,” which is accurate.
Sounds like Kristaps is gone.
