At the Arnold Palmer Invitational yesterday, PGA golfer Cody Gribble did his best to honor the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
Gribble spotted an alligator in the fairway as he sauntered towards his ball during his round. Unlike most sane people, Gribble didn’t wait for the leftover dinosaur to clear the course, he took matters into his own hands.
Gribble walked up behind the murderous reptile and casually tapped it on the tail, causing it to bolt off the course into the nearby water hazard.
It might not have been the smartest move, but it’s probably the most bad ass thing a golfer has ever done. It has been confirmed that the gator was not the same one that robbed beloved touring pro Chubbs Peterson of his once promising career.
Maybe Gribble can win that Gold Jacket that Chubbs never got.
