Newly drafted Bengals wide receiver John Ross set the NFL Combine 40-yard-dash record when he ran a blistering 4.22 in Indy this year. Ross recently made the bold statement that he could beat Olympic sprinting legend Usain Bolt in the 40.
Christian Coleman, a member of the U.S. 4×100 relay team, took on Ross’ 40 challenge, and smoked Ross’ combine record by running a 4.12. Yeah, elite NFL speed and world class speed are two completely different things.
If a relatively unknown Olympian can run a 4.12, you have to think Bolt could easily go sub 4.
