Marshawn Lynch has become as popular for his entertaining off-field exploits as his play in recent years on it. People love Lynch because he’s always 100% East Oakland authentic. He also just looks like he’s always enjoying life to the fullest.
Even when Lynch was a relatively unknown rookie running back with the Bills he was the exact same dude. An NFL Films clip of a mic’d up Lynch during his 2007 rookie year in a game against the Bengals shows a younger Lynch still dropping some funny lines and just having an all around time going to battle. He talks about everything from a lineman wanting to steal his gold teeth to jokingly calling Cincy wideout – and friend of the show – T.J. Houshmandzadeh ‘T.J. Houshmazoo.’ (Remember that commercial?)
This is some entertaining early Beast Mode. Never change Marshawn.
