LaVar Ball ruffled more feathers when he made comments over the weekend that Lakers head coach Luke Walton had lost the locker room and that his players no longer wanted to play for him.
The comments stoked intense reaction on social media and a harsh rebuke from Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle, but Luke Walton still has a sense of humor about the whole thing. In his postgame press conference following L.A.’s 132-113 over the Hawks, last night, Walton was asked why he pulled Lonzo in early in the 1st and 3rd quarters. He jokingly responded by saying that he pulled him out because, ‘His dad was talking s—, so I took him out early.’
Sometimes all you can do is laugh.
