With the Cardinals leading by by 4, 66-62 with .9 seconds left in the game, Virginia’s Ty Jerome was fouled shooting a three and made two of his three free throws. On the ensuing in bounds, Louisville turned it over on an inbound violation, giving UVA one last chance.
With .9 seconds still on the clock, DeAndre Hunter banked in a buzzer beater three to cap the improbable comeback. Virginia deserves credit, but Louisville blew this one in epic fashion.
