After being named the surprise starter over Tyrod Taylor for Week 11, Bills rookie QB Nate Peterman fell on his face with 5 first half interceptions against the Chargers, resulting in an avalanche of social media memes and criticism.
It was one of the worst quarterback debuts in history, but in a strangely prophetic soundbite, Buffalo running back LeSean McCoy bizarrely mentioned the possibility of Peterman throwing 5 INT’s when asked to predict how the rookie would play, earlier in the week.
“I mean, he’s a guy that has never played in the NFL in a real game. So you never know, it could be good or bad. You just never know. So I can’t really give you an honest answer.
He’s gonna go out there, he’s gonna dominate, he’s gonna throw for four or five touchdowns or is he gonna go for five picks? I don’t know.”
McCoy didn’t flat-out predict Peterman would throw 5 picks, but it’s pretty strange he threw the exact right number out there as a possibility.
