The Michael Jordan/LeBron James G.O.A.T. debate is currently reaching it’s annual fever pitch during the NBA playoffs, but we found an ancient clip of LeBron speaking with a student reporter from the St. Vincent St. Mary high school student newspaper after he met Jordan for the first time, back during the whirlwind 2002 season.
LeBron briefly discusses the encounter and said meeting MJ was better than meeting the president. James also expressed his frustrations with playing games at the University of Akron because the St. V students weren’t close to the court.
Looks like Brian Windhorst got scooped here.
