LeBron James and the Cavs have had several low points during an up and down season, but it’s hard to describe Saturday’s 120-88 blowout home loss to the Rockets as anything other than rock bottom.
Cleveland wasn’t only run out of their own gym, their overall lack of appearing to care whatsoever about the game – especially on the defensive end – jumped off the screen for anyone who watched the nationally televised game.
While speaking to the media following the loss, a disheartened LeBron told reporters he was embarrassed, and at a loss for words over the performance. He added the Cavs should be taken off of national TV for the rest of the year.
No subtweeting here. LeBron looks and sounds done with this team.
“I’m at a loss for words. They should take us off of every nationally televised game for the rest of the season.”
