Isaiah Wright, a player featured in the popular Netflix series Last Chance U, and his brother who also attended the school, have been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old man in Tennessee.
Per The Knoxville News-Sentinel report:
Camion D. Patrick, 22, of Knoxville, and Isaiah S. Wright, 20, of Harriman, are each charged with one count of criminal homicide in the July 25 death of 18-year-old Caleb Thomas Radford, of Maryville, the Alcoa Police Department announced Thursday.
Patrick and Wright both played at East Mississippi Community College. Wright became one of the focal points in season 2 of the series. After showing early promise, he was unable to stay on the field due to injuries, and later clashed with head coach Buddy Stephens. Patrick attended the school and won a national title in 2014, before the series began filming.
Patrick landed a scholarship at Indiana, but was declared a medical hardship after suffering injuries which ended his football career. Wright briefly enrolled at West Georgia, but left the team in 2017.
