LaMelo Ball, the younger brother of UCLA freshman sensation Lonzo Ball, has already gained internet fame for calling his own half-court shot during a game. The Chino Hills sophomore is ranked as one of the top high school ballers in the nation.
Last night, LaMelo dropped an absurd 92 points (!) in a CIF game against Los Osos, including 41 4th quarter points. He was 30/39 from two, and added 7 threes. Chino Hills won the game 146-123.
To be completely honest, the performance wasn’t as impressive as the overwhelming point total would indicate. The kid plays ZERO defense and cherry picks like an out of shape 40 year-old at a YMCA pick up game. He crossed half court like twice in the entire game. Defense looking like Carmelo.
Ball dedicated the game to a sick classmate. Message sent.
Here are the full highlights of all 92.
