Knicks owner James Dolan is probably the worst owner in all of professional sports. Not only has he continued to run the franchise into the ground on the court, but embarrassed it and tarnished its reputation when he had franchise favorite Charles Oakley arrested and removed from MSG last season.
When he’s not busy tearing down one of the great American sports franchises, Dolan sings with his blues band ‘JD and The Straight Shot’. Last night, JD played a gig in the West Village while the NBA Draft was going on at the Barclays.
Our review: He’s 100 times better at singing than owning an NBA franchise. Even if it’s not your type of music, it’s shocking to watch Dolan actually do something semi-competently.
It’s fitting that it’s a blues band, the horrendous Knicks are the perfect creative inspiration.
