Golden State rookie Jordan Bell is a freak athlete, but he still has some lessons to learn about late-game NBA etiquette in a blowout.
With the Warriors beating down the Mavs by 25 and just under three minutes left in the 4th, Bell caught an outlet pass on the break and tossed the ball of the glass to himself for a monster dunk that added a little more insult to the injury. He also got fouled on the punch.
KD, Steph and the Golden State bench were left in awe by the effort and speechless by the disrespect. After the final buzzer, Steve Kerr attempted to apologize to Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle for the play, but Carlisle was having none of it.
Some will say this play is classless, others will say don’t get down by 25 and you won’t have to worry about it. That’s easier said than done against the Warriors.
