The Spurs blew a 25-point lead in an ugly collapse that resulted in a 113-111 Western Conference Finals, Game 1 loss to Golden State. The San Antonio meltdown included a 17-0 Warriors third quarter run following Kawhi Leonard’s exit from the game with a rolled ankle.
Leonard suffered the injury when Zaza Pachulia stepped under his landing foot on a jumper with just under eight minutes left in the third. The Spurs led by 21 at the time of his departure.
Was it a dirty play by Pachulia? If you judge by social media reaction, Spurs fans think it was. The Warriors are just thankful he stayed away from Kevin Durant’s lower body.
Zaza Pachulia should be fined by the league for doing this to Kawhi, but he won’t get fined cuz he plays for the Warriors 😒 pic.twitter.com/0R9cjR3Kp6

For the record, Leonard was asked about the Pachulia play after the game, and said he didn’t think it was intentional. So you have that. His status for Game 2 is unknown.
