Jordan Spieth went from a final round melt down to hoisting the Claret Jug as the British Open champion, thanks to a legendarily clutch performance on the back nine.
While exiting the scorer’s tent after signing his final round scorecard for his third major victory, Spieth walked past his caddie, Michael Greller, who was looking for some congratulatory dap. Instead, Spieth gave him the old frathouse cupcheck. Ouch.
Jordan Spieth, you are as cold as ice. Gellar’s portion of the championship winnings should take some of the sting out of that.
