The Cowboys got shellacked, 42-17, on the road in Denver, and after the game head coach Jason Garrett raised some eyebrows by blaming Dak Prescott’s inability to make plays in the passing game for the loss, even though he didn’t directly reference his quarterback by name.
Prescott was 30/50 for 238 yards with 2 TD’s and 2 picks, but couldn’t get the downfield pass game going in order to prevent Denver from loading up the box to stop Ezekiel Elliott.
Some Cowboys beat writers felt Garrett threw Dak under the bus, but in his postgame press availability, Prescott agreed he needs to make more plays.
Jason Garrett threw Dak Prescott right under that bus.
