Paulie Malinaggi was Conor McGregor’s sparring partner until McGregor posted a picture of Malinaggi seemingly getting knocked down to the canvas. Malinaggi said he he only fell after being pushed by the Notorious MMA and refused to continue because of the intentional mischaracterization. He insists he was routinely working McGregor during sparring.
Malinaggi spoke out publicly for the first time since the blow up in an interview with Fox 5 New York, and didn’t hesitate to call out McGregor. He said McGregor’s arrogance and insistence on surrounding himself with “yes” men will make it impossible for him to progress as a boxer.
He also called McGregor a cheap skate who only provided cut-rate accommodations for the training staff while he showed up in a Lamborghini to train.
Is this guy just bitter, or does he have a point? You decide.
