In 2006, Deshaun Watson’s family received their first house thanks to the kindness and charity efforts of former NFL running back Warrick Dunn, and now that Watson is an NFL quarterback, he’s paying it forward by helping some team employees with affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Watson decided to donate his first game check to three team employees who lost everything during Harvey, to help them get back on their feet. He surprised them with the checks at the team facility, and their reaction to the gesture may get you a little weepy.
Deshaun Watson gets it. It’s hard not to root for this guy. This is amazing.
