There was plenty of action on the college football slate today, but the best finish to a game – and season – came from D III Endicott College, who trailed Bridgewater College 28-22, with the ball at their own 10 with less than a minute to go when they pulled off back-to-back miracles to win it.
The first was a prayer of a heave to mid field, into double coverage that was hauled in by wideout Brendan Johnson with as good of a one handed grab as you’ll see at any level. Miracle one.
With the ball just across the 50, Endicott QB Joe Kalosky then tossed a hail mary into the endzone. It was caught with no time on the clock for the win. Miracle two. Comeback complete.
There’s insanity, then there’s this madness. Watch lightning strike twice in less than a minute.
