Conor McGregor is always loud and brash, but some of his comments from a trash-talk filled kickoff press conference for his upcoming fight against Floyd Mayweather fight are drawing criticism for being racist.
At one point in the presser, when Mayweather showed off his legendary speed and quickness with some shadow boxing, McGregor held the mic and taunted him by saying, “Dance for me, Boy!”
McGregor repeated the phrase, and replaced the word ‘boy’ with ‘son’, but his comments are already being called racist by some. Regardless of McGregor’s intent, the controversy surrounding the comments is already off and running.
It’s unknown if McGregor intends to address the comments.
