The harshest discipline most professional soccer players expect to face during a match is drawing a red card, not being walked out of the stadium by the police following an in-game arrest.
According to the Brazilian Radio Gaucha, that’s exactly what happened to Maelon Natanel, a 21-year-old player for the Brazilian second division club Saopucaiense, who was arrested by authorities in a police sting during a recent match. Natanel had a warrant out for his arrest for his role in a kidnapping, and had previously evaded capture.
