If you don’t bring your glove to the ballgame like Jim Harbaugh, your only other option to catch a souvenir is to go with bare hand, or wait until it hits a seat and pursue the ricochet like a rat.
In the fourth inning of last night’s Braves/Mets game, New York outfielder Jay Bruce launched a home run into right field at SunTrust Park. A fan patrolling the patio impressively bare-handed the blast, and did it without dropping his beer.
Great grab, superior beer respect. This has it all.
The game was called for weather, so the Bruce home run didn’t officially count, but the fan catch still stands.
