The Seattle locker room has always run high on emotion, which can be great when they’re winning, but quickly turn destructive when things get going bad.
After the Seahawks 42-7 blowout loss to the Rams yesterday, Seattle safety Earl Thomas took a shot at linebacker Bobby Wagner, who suited up despite being hobbled with a bad hamstring. When asked about Wagner’s performance, Thomas said:
“The backups would have [done] just as good.”
Earl Thomas doesn’t think All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner should have played with bad hamstring for #Seahawks in blowout loss to Rams. “The backups would have done just as good.” @thenewstribune pic.twitter.com/svmgAOE3D5

The slight didn’t go unnoticed by Wagner, who fired back at Thomas on Twitter, in a now deleted tweet, telling Thomas to ‘keep my name out yo mouth.’ This has been a bad year for the Seahawks, who are in danger of missing the playoffs at 8-6. This locker room drama probably won’t help the cause for a late playoff push.
