Bill Belichick owning reporters is never not entertaining, and this is shaping up to be a career season for the awkward press conference moment highlight reel for The Genius.
Belichick recently went viral after mentally arm wrestling a reporter into submission when asked about the style the Patriots used to beat the Chargers, and yesterday, when one reporter wanted to get his hot take on potentially retiring with Tom Brady, and the upcoming 30 for 30 featuring him and Bill Parcells, Belichick went into psychological warfare mode out of spite for the question.
Belichick mumbled that he was focused on Denver a couple of times and impatiently stared at the guy to really ramp up the uneasiness. He finished him off by saying:
“I’m sorry we couldn’t connect on that.”
These poor reporters should get hazard pay for having to attend these things. It’s unfair.
This reporter definitely went home and cried himself to sleep pic.twitter.com/BYpHFg0mFc
