The Patriots are getting ready to take on Jaguars with uncertainty of the Tom Brady’s hand injury looming over the team. If Brady is unable to play, or goes down during the game, New England will have to turn to backup Brian Hoyer because Bill Belichick agreed to trade Jimmy Garoppolo to the Niners during the season.
During this morning’s press conference, Belichick was asked if he regretted the decision to trade Garoppolo, given the current circumstance with Brady. Belichick gave a template, “We’re getting ready for Jacksonville,” but then engaged in an extended, uncomfortable stare down with the reporter who dared ask.
A Belichick stare is worth a thousand words. This one says “displeased.”
