Packers fans are desperately holding out hope for an Aaron Rodgers return from a broken collarbone to lead Green Bay into the playoffs, and Rodgers did nothing to help quiet those rumors when he was spotted tossing some deep balls – reportedly between 30 and 50 yards – during warm ups at Heinz Field before last night’s loss to the Steelers.
The Pack is sitting at 5-6, so it’s unlikely Rodgers would come back if they were completely out of playoff contention, and tossing in warm ups is a different animal than facing a live pass rush during an NFL game, but that won’t stop Green Bay die-hards from hoping for a miracle.
Here’s A-Rodg getting loose.

Aaron Rodgers can’t come back earlier than the Carolina game, but this is a promising sight to see for Packers fans. Rodgers throwing at Heinz Field before #GBvsPIT #Packers pic.twitter.com/eA3GVWxQs5
