Louisiana Tech got drilled, 57-21, by Mississippi State last night, but in the process of getting drilled, they produced an all-time great college football folly.
In the fourth quarter, Tech was marching for a late, meaningless score, and had a 2nd and goal from the 6. A bad snap resulted in a blooper filled recovery effort, and by the time Tech finally fell on the rock, they faced a 3rd and goal from their own 7 with 93 yards to pay dirt.
Shockingly, they were unable to convert.
