Yesterday was a homecoming in San Francisco for San Mateo native Tom Brady, who made his first career road start against the Niners. He grew up a San Francisco fan, and famously attended “The Catch” game as young boy.
But, the headline of the day on social media wasn’t about Brady’s bay area return, or his 280 yard, 4 touchdown dismantling of his childhood team in the 30-17 Patriots win. It was his fashion-forward, Inspector Clouseau trench coat that he wore as he arrived at Levi Stadium, and later at the postgame press conference.

Twitter gave Tom the business for sporting The Executive. The comparisons ranged from Dick Tracy, to McGruff the Crime Dog, to Inspector Gadget.
Brady was unavailable for comment on the social media buzz. He was too busy heading home to his mansion after another win to go sleep with his supermodel wife on a king size bed covered in money.
