Fantasy Football has become a billion dollar industry. It’s serious business for many. Inevitably, some people take it one step too far.
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley ran for 1,106 yards in his rookie season, which made him a near unanimous Top 10 pick in most fantasy leagues this year.
Gurley’s mediocre sophomore campaign – 778 yards through 15 games – has blown up many a fantasy owner’s team in 2016. In last night’s 24-3 loss to the Seahawks, Gurley ran for a paltry 38 yards on 14 carries.
After the game, one Gurley owner was so pissed, he tweeted to the running back that if he saw him in public, he was going to fight him over his disappointing fantasy season.
@TG3II if I ever see you in public we’re fist fighting over your fantasy football performance this year

Gurley responded to the disgruntled owner by simply tweeting, “Pull up then.”

Be careful what you wish for, Twitter tough guys, you just might get it. In this case, Gurley Claus might be bringing you a merciless beatdown for Christmas.
