Tim Tebow held his much-hyped workout for interested major league baseball teams today at USC’s Dedeaux Field. Packed with curious onlookers and mostly skeptical scouts, the whole thing had a WWE feel to it.
Today In The Herd, Colin spoke with Speak for Yourself co-host Jason McIntyre live from the circus to find out if Tebow is for real, or just a buffer version of Sidd Finch. McIntyre thought Tebow’s arm looked “Puig” like, and he didn’t embarrass himself in batting practice. Call Cooperstown and cast the bust!
Colin wasn’t sure what to make of Tebow’s workout, but succinctly summed up his skepticism of Tebow’s MLB prospects.
“A lot of his skills work in the NFL. Leadership can win you a game. Leadership isn’t squat when you’re facing a 97 mile an hour slider.”
