In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Atlanta Hawks have a tradition where they incorporate a full choir from a local Atlanta church into their player intros. It’s the only way to go.
The player intros here feel more like a can’t-miss sermon than the template introductions. The best part is when the choir sings each player’s name in unison after the announcer’s introduction. The Dwight Howard intro is a personal fav.
It’s our annual MLK game, which means CHOIR INTROS! pic.twitter.com/mVZx9nexau

Congrats to the Hawks on a phenomenal tribute honoring one of the truly transformational figures in American history, and Atlanta’s native son.
Today, on your day off, take a second to remember the life and achievements of Martin Luther King, Jr.
